🌞 Things they don't tell you about holidays wit 🌞 Things they don't tell you about holidays with kids 🌞 I survived! Two weeks. Four kids. One husband on a short fuse. And a heatwave! 🙌🙌🙌 It turns out there's a few more things I've discovered they don't tell you about holidays with 4 kids 👩👱👧👶 (or indeed any kids): 1. Not getting the air con in the car fixed before going on holiday is a BAD idea. Especially if there happens to be a heatwave 🔥🔥🔥 2. You can be THAT family one day, causing a right royal hullabaloo everywhere you go, then the next day they're complete angels 😇🤷‍♀️ 3. You can take them somewhere posh but they won't thank you for it - here we are at @moonfleetmanor on my birthday & look at their faces 😆😆😆 4. You can't please everyone all the time, & sometimes no one at all 😏😏😏 5. You pick your battles. Like letting your 2-year-old walk around a tank museum in bare feet because she refuses to put her shoes on. Even though some people do a double take, & others openly tut 🙈🙈🙈 6. Afterwards a teeny tiny part of you feels like you need another holiday 😳😳😳 And that's absolutely ok 👍👍👍 Anyway we're home now after an epic car journey in 36 degree+ heat on a Friday night without said air conditioning & a screaming toddler 😅😅😅 #mumlife #mumproblems #capturingtheday
