Ever since BB was born in 2011 April and May has become one of my favourite times of the year. For the purpose of this post I’m going to waiver her anonymity and reveal that her real name is Bluebell, and each year we dump her in the middle of the same patch of bluebells at Bushy Park in Surrey and take photos in a bid to capture ‘The One’ for that year. Now that she’s four we’re able to bribe her with the promise of a treat in order to get the perfect shot, and I think this might be ‘The One’ for 2016.
I think they are all lovely and what a great name! I love the idea of taking photos in the same place each year. I accidentally did the same thing with my son, without even realising it, for five years! I have to try to keep it up now!
I like that you’ve inadvertently started a tradition too – long may it continue!
What a lovely idea and gorgeous photographs 🙂 Also makes me wonder how many rolls of camera film we would have gone through whilst trying to get the perfect shot 🙂 I take so many, probably too many photographs of my little ones with my phone and digi camera but at least we can review 🙂
I took at least 20 photos to get this shot! The good thing with digital now is we can just delete the dudd ones!
What a really lovely idea. This is something she could carry on for the rest of her life, and that I just find really heart warming. You have definitely captured the “one” for 2016. #MySundayPhoto
I imagine it will take more than a chocolate treat to bribe her in years to come, but hopefully we can manage it every year!
What a beautiful idea, I wonder if she’ll ever say no more now mum
Thank you for linking up
