If you’ve got a blog post you’re especially proud of, a review that needs a bit of love or just want to share your fabulous content with some like-minded bloggers then #fortheloveofblog is for you!
This week I’m coming to you from a very hot and sunny south coast where we’ve had our first beach day of the year and Violet had her very first dip in the sea. And I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the hot and sunny weather at long last!
This week I’m linking up a fun post inspired by the birth of the new royal baby Lilibet Diana, who will reportedly be known as Lili: 5 reasons I chose flower names for my baby girls!
If you’re new and this is your first time #fortheloveofblog is hosted by me Crummy Mummy along with the fabulous Claire at Life, Love and Dirty Dishes, Talya at Motherhood: The Real Deal and Nigel at DIY Daddy.
#fortheloveofblog opens at 6am on Tuesdays and runs until midnight on Fridays and the aim of the game is to link up your favourite blog posts and engage, connect and create a linky party we all look forward to joining in with each week.
Absolutely anything goes: old posts, new posts – or, if you simply can’t choose one from all your fabulous posts, you can link up your whole blog!
Last week’s linky
Last week we had a record 20 link ups and welcomed some new faces (hello!) which is great news as our lovely little linky grows.
We loved reading all your posts and each week Claire, Talya, Nigel and I each choose our favourite post to feature and link back to (meaning four chances to earn an all-important back link to help your domain authority!)
My favourite post:
My favourite this week was Mum Vs Sleep Deprivation by Me, Them and the Others. As a mum of four who’s currently breastfeeding I totally get this – I could sleep for 10,000 years!
Claire’s favourite post:
Claire’s favourite post was by Joy at Artful Homemaking. Claire says: “I love a list and I’m a bit of an organisation nerd, so I loved the deep cleaning checklist.”
Talya’s favourite post:
Talya’s favourite post was How to talk to a girl about her period by Woman On Thin Ice. Talya says: “With a little girl here growing up fast, I know that this is only a matter of a few years away and we’ve already been talking about this kind of stuff at home. I love Kate’s candid reflections on getting her daughter prepared for this huge milestone in her journey to womanhood.”
Nigel’s favourite post:
Nigel’s favourite post was 5 signs you’re burnt out from pandemic parenting by Wendy at Naptime Natter. Nigel says: “We are all feeling this I’m sure – I really identified with the article.”
So, if you fancy joining in with the linky too, here’s how!
