It’s that time of year again – and what a year it’s been!

I don’t know about you but if you’d told me this time last year what 2020 would have in store I simply wouldn’t have believed it – because you couldn’t make it up!

Merry Christmas from Crummy Mummy HQ!

We kicked off the year with a post on 10 things to look forward to in 2020, like a bank holiday Friday in May to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day. We did indeed celebrate VE Day, but I can’t say any of us noticed it was a bank holiday because thanks to lockdown by then one day was much the same as the next!

I’d also included the 50th anniversary of Glastonbury and the Tokyo Olympics on the list, both of which have yet to happen – and I’ll be honest, I’m starting to wonder if they ever will.

On a happier note, we also started the year looking forward to the arrival of baby number four, who graced us with her presence at the height of what we now know as Lockdown 1.0.

Eight months on it’s fair to say it’s been a rollercoaster of a year, but we’re looking forward to our first Christmas as a family of six and taking a well earned break here at Crummy Mummy HQ.

On that note, all that’s left for me to say is a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you lovely lot – thank you so much for all your messages and support in the last year – I can’t wait to see you on the other side!
