It’s Tuesday again which means only one thing: it’s time to get your linky on with #fortheloveofblog!

If you’ve got a blog post you’re especially proud of or simply want to raise the profile of your wonderful blog THIS is the linky party for you!

#fortheloveofblog

As always #fortheloveofblog opens at 6am on Tuesdays and runs until midnight on Fridays and absolutely anything goes! Hosted by me Crummy Mummy, Claire at Life, Love and Dirty Dishes, Talya at Motherhood: The Real Deal and Nigel at DIY Daddy we’re ready and waiting to read all your lovely linked up posts!

Our idea is to create a community of like-minded bloggers to help support and share each other’s work, and build a linky party we all look forward to joining in with each week.

This week I’m linking up 5 unexpected benefits of giving your child their own mobile phone after we gave Bluebell (nine) her own phone for the first time. It turns out there are one or two pros I wasn’t expecting!

Last week’s linky

Each week Claire, Talya, Nigel and I choose our favourite post to feature and link back to (so there are four chances to earn an all-important back link to boost your domain authority).

My favourite post:

My favourite post was by Wander and Luxe (for the second week running!) with 5 York Chocolate Shops You Must Visit. I love the city of York (and chocolate!) and am looking forward to being able to visit again once Covid restrictions are lifted.

Claire’s favourite post:

Claire’s favourite post was The M Word about the menopause by Where The Wild Things Were. Claire says: “As I get older and realise the serious failings when it comes to women’s health, it becomes something I am really passionate about.”

Talya’s favourite post:

Talya’s favourite post was from Louise at Little Hearts Big Love with Keeping Their Memory Alive. Talya says: “I’ve been following Louise’s story of love and loss from the beginning and although it is a heart wrenching post about keeping her daughter Jessica’s memory alive it is also a beautiful one too.”

Nigel’s favourite post:

Nigel’s favourite post was 7 reasons why I hate the school run by This Is Where It Is At. I must admit, I’m not a fan of the school run either and am looking forward to a break over the summer!

The rules

The rules are simple – there aren’t many!

  • Link up a maximum of two posts
  • Please comment on each of the hosts posts (I’ve put that bit in bold as not everyone has been doing so!) and one other of your choice (of course, you’re welcome to comment on more!)
  • For every link up you’ll get at least two comments from the hosts
  • Each week Claire, Talya, Nigel and I will each choose our favourite post to feature and link back to in the following weeks’ linky, which equals lots of magic back links!

So, what are you waiting for? Grab the badge and get linking – we can’t wait to read your posts!
