Did you know that one in five Brits has more than 7,500 photos stored on their mobile phone if the latest research is to be believed?

It’s a startling stat, and begs the question: what can you do with all the photos other than leave them floating about in the ether?

Printster

As a mum of four it’s fair to say I have lots of photos on my phone, so when personalised photo experts Printster got in touch and asked us to review what they have to offer it was the perfect opportunity to actually do something with all the favourite family moments I’ve got stored on there.

Capturing favourite family moments with Printster

If you haven’t come across Printster before they specialise in personalised photo gifts including mugs, coasters, magnets and even wrapping paper.

There are lots of different designs and templates to choose from and they very kindly gifted us £50 to spend on their site.

Create your own fridge magnets

With so many photos languishing on my phone I decided to turn some of my favourite Instagram images into a set of 12 fridge magnets (£10.99).

With the older three all at school now they come home with so many bits of paper and the magnets are perfect for keeping track of party invites, gymnastics certificates and awards they get at school. I also love glimpsing snapshots from days out and birthdays every time I open the fridge and freezer!

Turning snaps into art

Bluebell leaves Brownies and moves up to Guides after three happy years this term so I decided to have one of my favourite pictures of her as a Brownie turned into a wall-mounted photo panel (£22.95). It was taken at the end of a Brownie meeting at Devil’s Dyke in Sussex, and I love how happy she looks and the way her hair is down and blowing wild.

All you have to do is upload your image onto Printster’s website and they do the rest, transforming a photo on my phone into a glossy piece of artwork to stand the test of time. It fits perfectly into one of our bedroom Ikea Kallax cubes, and I love looking at it every morning and evening when I wake up and go to bed!

Brightening up my desk

With Bluebell, Max and Marigold now at school and Violet at nursery three mornings a week I’m finally getting the chance to spend more time at my desk, so I thought it would help fuel my blogging mojo to brighten up my home office with some new accessories.

Printster

I chose a personalised mug which I could personalise on both sides (£6.99, but currently on offer for £5.49) and a personalised coaster (£2.99) to customise with my blog branding.

Printster

The customisation was super easy: all you have to do is choose from a selection of templates, upload your chosen picture or design and Printster will do all the hard work for you.

The mug arrived in its own box and I was impressed with the quality of both the mug, which I’m using as a pen store, and the coaster, which have freshened up my desk and helped fire my blogging mojo just as I hoped!

I also chose a heart-shaped keyring (£6.99) to personalise with a picture of the kids. I had planned to give it away as a gift, but I like it so much it’s now got my house keys on it!

Do you have hundreds of images stored on your phone too? We’re teaming up with Printster to give away a £50 voucher to spend on their site! The giveaway will run from Monday October 4 to Monday October 18, 2021 so don’t forget to pop back for your chance to enter!

We were gifted all the items featured in this post. As always all opinions are my own and based on our own honest experience.
