Win a Tree2mydoor tabletop Christmas tree

We’ve teamed up with tree gift company Tree2mydoor to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a real living Christmas tree worth Β£26.40 delivered straight to your front door.

If you’re a regular follower of the blog you’ll know I’m a BIG fan of online shopping, partly because we live in a 4th floor flat and partly to avoid shopping with a threenager, and having shopping delivered to the front door is far preferable than carrying it home myself with three kids in tow.

Tree2mydoor is an award-winning tree gift company and everything is just that – delivered straight to your door – so you don’t have to worry about lugging anything home or buying a present and posting it yourself.

They do all sorts of tree gifts all year round from fruit trees to topiary trees to Christmas trees for all different occasions, and they very kindly sent us a Picea conica Christmas tree so we could see their festive offering for ourselves.

The tree, which measures about 50cms high when you get it, comes in a red zinc bucket in an upright box already decorated, so all you have to do is open it, put batteries in the fairy lights (the batteries aren’t included) and bingo.

As well as a real Christmas tree I love having living plants and flowers in addition to our normal houseplants at Christmas – especially ones that smell Christmassy like this little tree does.

It’s got a layer of decorative moss on top of the pot which as well as being a nice finishing touch stops the kids – and the cats – from β€˜accidentally’ spilling any soil.

Tree2mydoor review

Other than advent calendars for our post on the best non-chocolate advent calendars our Tree2mydoor Christmas tree is the first Christmassy thing we’ve had in the house this year and needless to say the kids were super excited when it arrived and I took it out of the box.

They’ve been begging me to let them keep it in their bedroom so they can have their own Christmas tree and use the lights as an alternative for their night light but it’s too good for that so it’s brightening up our living room instead!
