Picture the scene: it was an average working weekday – I think it was raining – and I really wasn’t in the mood when an intriguing looking email with the words ‘Cadbury’, ‘Channel Mum’ and ‘vlog’ in the subject line popped into my inbox.

Would I like to work with Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons and Channel Mum on a vlog as part of Cadbury’s latest ad campaign, and get paid for it? Would I?! Is the Pope Catholic??!!

WIN one of 5 video cameras & Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons

I was excited on so many levels. Not only is Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons one of the biggest chocolate brands in the country and they wanted to work with little old me, but Channel Mum are arguably the experts when it comes to vlogging and I loved the sound of the campaign, which isn’t about Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons (which incidentally we love) at all but about celebrating shared special moments with your little one.

Basically the boffs at Cadbury have come up with a special online tool called Memory Lane which you can use to capture everyday shared special moments, like this one of BB and I painting our nails, and turn them into a personalised video.

Capturing.shared.moments.with.Memory.Lane

It features a street you can ‘walk’ around spotting all your shared special moments – you’ve really got to see it to believe it, so here’s what it’s all about.

If you fancy making your own Memory Lane you can be in with the chance of winning one of 5 state-of-the-art video cameras and a box of Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons by tagging @channelmum and sharing your creation on social media using the hashtag #ButtonsMemoryLane.

The competition closes at midnight on Friday September 30 and I’d love to see your video too, so feel free to tag me @confessionsofacrummymummy on Facebook and Instagram and @mrsnataliebrown on Twitter.

This vlog was sponsored by Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons and Channel Mum but as always all opinions are my own.
