Excuse the royal-esque Christmas message – not to mention the photo – (I couldn’t resist) but thought I’d take a minute to wish you all a very merry Christmas!

We’re staying put and celebrating our first Christmas on our own as a family (it’s going swimmingly so far, in spite of all the things I discovered it’s best not to do when hosting your first Christmas). That said, we haven’t cooked the turkey yet.

We’ll be back on Monday (I know, I don’t know what day it is either – that’s three days from now) with reasons Christmas is better when you have kids.
